Want to play football in Portsmouth? But why Portsmouth? Is it the proud naval and maritime heritage? World class visitor attractions, museums and galleries? Or is it the beautiful waterfront? You’re defo not here to watch their football team are you!
After a day of being a culture vulture in pompy (getting blottoed to be precise) it’s time to slip into your zorb suit and show off your silky skills. To be more specific it’s time to see how high you can blast your mate over the Spinnaker Tower in a zorb suit.
After doing hundreds of bubble football sessions we noticed that once people became aware of the power they held in their hands, it was very rare that anyone actually bothered with the damn ball!
That’s not to say we don’t play bubble football but that is the showpiece at the end. Before we go into a game we go into the The Zorb Olympics – a variety of hilarious zorb games that will have the whole group in bits (instagram comedy gold, I may add!).
Ahoy, matey! Welcome to Portsmouth, the home of legendary ships like HMS Victory, HMS Warrior, and the resurrected Mary Rose. But today, a new vessel sets sail in these waters – The HMS Bubble Destroyer. Brace yourself, for its mighty impact will transport you back in time, making you feel like you’re living in a Charles Dickens novel from the Victorian Era.
But beware the treacherous sea, my friend. If you don’t want to end up as fish food in the English Channel, you’ll need a solid bubble football venue to wage your battles. Fear not, for Spartacus Naval Base has scoured the shores and unearthed the perfect battlefield.
We’ve charted a course to an epic location in the heart of the city, boasting a top-notch 4g pitch and facilities fit for a captain. So gather your crew, prepare for a skirmish, and let the games begin!
